Ingredients

  • Chicken halal (steaky meats)
  • Ginger garlic paprika powder,
  • to taste masala,tumeric,salt,red chili flakes or green chilies
  • Cooking oil
  • Beetroot grated
  • Mushroom(optional)
  • Lemon(optional)
  • Rice basmati
  • Spring onion choped
  • Celery
  • Carrot grated
  • Pomegranate
  • Celery
  • Corriander
  • Zaatar

  • Spice for chicek marination:add the spices, and then mix to form paste
  • Stir fry in a pan.add some oil and then the ingredients
  • Start frying in the spring onion znd celery.then add the other ingredients until chicken cooked thru
  • Prep the rice by soaking briefly with xarm hotvxater,until little softened,then can discard off water with excess starch…then cook the rice in some water(here used rice cooker)
  • Divide the rice,by reducing zbout a quqter of it to another bowl.then Spice the rest of plain rice with baaris(somali rice),spice.
  • Then mix the stir fried ingredients into the slightly spiced rice,then stir well and let cook bit more.thrn plate in dish znd serve…gernish with green chillies,spring onion,pomegranate seeds,corriander.and also can thinly slice beetroots or czn serve with beetroot ralish inshaallah!
