Herbal Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • Chinese herbs (dates, solomonseal, wolf berry, gordon euryale seed, tangerine peel, dendrobium)
  • Water

Directions

  • Blanch chicken for 5 minutes, remove. Boil new pot of water, reduce heat. Add chicken and herbs. Stew over low heat for two hours. Add more water whenever necessary.
  • When ready, add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice.
