Caramel apples

Ingredients

  • 16 Large red and green apples
  • 2 bags caramel squares
  • 4 Tbsp. Water
  • 16 twigs
  • 2 Tbsp. Black food coloring

Directions

  • In a medium greased pot heat to med-low heat on stove top. Add in caramel squares and water and stir until caramel is melted and smooth. Add food coloring and incorporate.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Stick in twigs at tops of each apple. Dip in caramel coating completely using a spoon if necessary. Twirl to coat completely. Let caramel dip off and then tip over stick side down an out 20 sec. to let caramel set. Place on parchment paper.
  • Let cool and serve.
