Yummy Spicy Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic and ginger paste
  • Lemon juice from half a lemon
  • 2 teaspoons crushed coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon crushed whole cumin
  • 3 teaspoons salt or to your taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon haldi/turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder or to your taste
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 3 teaspoons hot madras curry powder OR the mild version
  • Handful chopped coriander
  • 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons yoghurt

Directions

  • Make small cuts in the chicken drumsticks and keep aside for marinating.
  • In a bowl add all the ingredients leaving the chicken drumsticks aside for adding later. Mix the marinade and add the chicken drumsticks. Marinate the chicken drumsticks for at least 3 hours before cooking.
  • You can cook using your preferred method. I cooked them in an Air Fryer for 15 minutes per side. It took a total of 30 minutes per batch. You can Air Fry, Grill, Oven Bake, Barbecue or Deep Fry. Ensure that you cook the chicken drumsticks thoroughly before eating. Timings will vary depending on method used.
