Rava ladoo

Ingredients

2 cup rava2 cup sugar1 cup fresh shredded coconut1/2 cup ghee1 cup water1/2 tsp cardamom powderfew strands of saffron2 tbsp sliced almonds20-25 raisins2 tsp milk

Mix rava and coconut and set aside for ten minutes.Heat ghee in a pan. Add coconut and rava mixture and roast until golden. This takes 20-25 minutes.In another pan heat sugar and water mixed together. Bring it to a boil. To clarify it add two teaspoons of milk. The syrup should be one string in consistency.Add the roasted rava and coconut to this syrup. Take it off the stove and let it stand for 20 mins.Add almonds and raisins or your choice of nuts to this mixture.Roll in to ladoos.
