Watermelon Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Watermelon cubes
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar syrup
  • 1 Tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Basil seeds (tuhkmirra or tukhmalanga)
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Salt (kala namak)
  • 1/2 cup IceCubes
  • Water as required
  • To Garnish
  • Leaves fresh Mint
  • slices Lemon

Directions

  • Wash & cut watermelon in half.take out watermelon cubes/pieces in a bowl.
  • I have removed some seeds & few are still left in watermelon cubes. If you like try to remove all or leave (your choice).put cubes in blander along with ice cubes.
  • Add lemon juice,sugar syrup & blacksalt as well.
  • Blend watermelon with little water if needed.blend well.
  • Soak basil seeds in 2 tbsp water & let them swell.
  • Pour juice in jug & mix soaked basil seeds in it.add few fresh mint leaves in juice. Top up with a lemon slice, Mint leave & serve chilled.
