Tomato Juice

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 tsp sugar or sugarfree
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Directions

  • Chop all tomatoes and blend in a blender jar with sugar or sugarfree, black salt and little water.Strain the pulp in a strainer.Transfer it to the blender.Add ice cubes,roasted cumin powder,black salt,black pepper powder and blend well.
  • Crush sugar to fine granules.Spread on a plate.Smear lemon juice on the rim of a glass.Place the glass upside down on the sugar dust and press.The sugar will stick on the rim.Pour chilled tomato juice in the glass and garnish with a sprinkling of roasted cumin powder,black pepper powder and fresh pudina (mint)leaves.
