Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe tomato sliced
  • 8-10 green Chillies
  • 1 tsp tamarind
  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 4 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 handful coriander leaves
  • To taste Salt

Directions

  • In a pan,add 1 tbsp oil, green chili and saute for 2 mins.
  • Then add sliced tomato,tamarind,garlic,curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and saute until it turns mushy.
  • Let it cool down completely. Add cumin seeds and grind to smooth paste.
  • In a pan,add 2 tbsp oil mustard seeds,urad dal,curry leaves, hing and let it splutter.
  • Then add the ground chutney and saute until oil gets absorbed for 5-7 mins.
  • Now the most spiciest, tastiest chutney is ready to serve with crispy dosa or hot idlies.
