Pepper jelly

Ingredients

  • Finally chopped seeded green bell pepper 2 1/3 cup about two large peppers
  • Finally chopped seeded DeVane jalapeño peppers about three small 1/3 cup
  • 2/3 cup Cider vinegar
  • Half a tablespoon of butter
  • 3 1/3 cups sugar or 2 cups for reduced
  • 3 tablespoons Ball real fruit classic PECTIN

Directions

  • Using the freshtech jelly maker. Sprinkle PECTIN evenly over the bottom of pot fitted with stirrer. And add peppers evenly over PECTIN. Pour vinegar evenly over peppers add butter to help reduce foaming
  • Press jelly button the cook time will automatically default to 25 minutes press the minus button until time reads 21 minutes press enter
  • Wait four minutes for appliance to sound for short beeps that it is time to add the sugar and sugar gradually until empty place the lid on the pot
  • The jelly maker peep when is done carefully remove the lid and the stirrer with a potholder, skin foam if there is any from top of jelly, preserve jelly immediately.

  • Makes about 4 8ounce half pints of jelly. (how i used the pepper jelly, it went over the cream cheese)
