Methi(fenugreek) chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 green chillies
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Fresh leaves of fenugreek
  • Oil for cooking

Directions

  • In a heavy base pan put oil and add chopped onions, garlic, ginger,green chilli, saute till soft
  • Now add tomatoes and cover for 5, add in salt, turmeric, garam masala. Cook till it leaves a lil oil
  • Now add methi leaves and chicken. Cook till chicken is cooked thoroughly
  • Add 2 tbsp of cream and keep in 2 more mins.
  • Adjust spices and serve with naan or roti
