Quick Sauté: Shishito with yellow squash

Ingredients

  • 1 large yellow squash
  • 5 tender shishito chilies
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 TSP minced green onion
  • to taste Salt
  • 1.5 Tsp olive oil

Directions

  • Slice yellow squash and shishio chili.
  • Mince garlic and green onion
  • Heat up olive oil and sauté garlic until aromatic. Drop in yellow squash and sprinkle a pinch of salt. Saute for a minute until they become wither. Add shishito and stir for another half minute. Adjust seasoning and add green onion right before plating.
