Restuarant style matar mushroom

Ingredients

  • 2 big onion
  • 5 big red tomatoes
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 inches ginger
  • Half cup cashew
  • 4 cardamom
  • 4 cloves or laung
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp hing or ASAFETIDA
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or hung curd beaten
  • 2 cups diced mushrooms
  • Half cup peas or matar

Directions

  • Put some butter in a pan and add all the ingredients together.do not add cream,mushrooms and peas
  • Add half cup water and cover the utensil.let cook the mixture at medium flame for at least 30 minutes.
  • Keep checking and after 30 minutes blend smooth the mixture and strain it well to have creamy curry
  • Now again take that same pan.again put little butter and pinch of turmeric and red chilli powder then add creamy curry with cream.
  • Take a boil and add little water.add mushrooms and peas.boil the curry for 10 minutes around and serve.stay safe stay healthy and happy with my homemade food
