Pecan Squares

1/2 cup butter6 T brown sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups flour1/4 cup butter1/4 cup packed brown sugar2 1/2 T honey1 T sugar1 T heavy whipping cream1/8 tsp salt1 cup pecans1/4 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350. Line 5x7-in baking pan with parchment paper, letting ends extend up sides of pan. Coarsely grate butter into a bowl. Add brown sugar, salt, and flour and beat until light and fluffy. Press onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, honey, sugar, cream and salt; bring to a boil. Cook one minute. Remove from the heat; stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour over crust.Bake 15 minutes.
