Graham cracker fried chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup plain panko
  • 3 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 oil
  • 3 lb cut up chicken

Directions

  • Soak chicken in buttermilk for 30 min at room temp turning occasionally
  • Mix all dry ingredients together by whisking
  • Dredge soaked chicken in dry mix
  • The recipe said to fry in 2inches of oil in a large cast iron skillet..I didn t have that do I used my fryer. Worked fine
