Creamy bolognese

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 2 onions, finelly chopped
  • 2 grated carrots (optional)
  • 1 tin passata + ½ tin water
  • 300 ml double cream
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Black + white pepper
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato puré
  • 1 tin sweetcorn

Directions

  • Fry the beef mince and onions and add the remaining ingredients to the pot.
  • Cook on the hob for 10-20 minutes or in the slow cooker on high for 3-4 hours (I don’t recommend cooking it any longer since it might make the cream curdle).
