Tasty, Moist Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken fillet, cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice *
  • 1/2 tsp salt *
  • 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper *
  • 1/2 tsp honey *
  • 1 egg, beaten loose
  • 4 tbsp maizena (you can also use potato starch) **
  • 1/2 tsp salt **
  • 1 tsp dried sage **
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  • Marinate chicken with * for 10-15 minutes (you can also put the chicken all night in the fridge). Mix ** ingredients in a bowl.
  • Pour oil into pan. Heat the pan (medium).
  • Coat chicken in ** mixture, then coat using egg. Fry until golden.
  • My kids like to eat these with tartar sauce, but you can use chili or tomato ketchup, salsa, sambal, according to your preference.
