Ingredients

300 g Demerera Sugar100 g Margarine30 g Golden Syrup15 g Treacle4 tbsp Water
Directions

Add all ingredients to a pan and heat slowly until margarine and sugar are meltedContinue to heat the mixture up to 285°cDo a drop test with the mixture by dropping a little into some cold water. It should separate into brittle threads.Pour the mixture into a greased tray or tray lined with baking paper.Leave to cool and set. Once set break up with a small hammer and enjoy.
