Carrot & Tuna ‘Goma-ae’

2 Carrots *Today I used 280g, cut into thin strips1/2 tablespoon Sesame Oil1 pinch Salt1/4 teaspoon Dry Chilli Flakes1 can (95 g) Tuna *I used Tuna in Springwater‘Goma-ae’ Sauce2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds *ground1 tablespoon Sugar2 tablespoons Soy Sauce

Grind Toasted Sesame Seeds, OR use the trick ‘How To Grind Sesame Seeds Using A Plastic Bag’. Add Sugar and Soy Sauce and mix well to make ‘Goma-ae’ Sauce.Heat Sesame Oil in a frying pan over medium heat, cook Carrots for a few minutes. Add 1 pinch Salt and Chilli Flakes, stir, and remove from the heat while they are still crunchy.*Note: You can blanch Carrot in slightly salted water instead of stir-frying. In that case, Sesame Oil and Chilli Flakes can be added to ‘Goma-ae’ Sauce.Combine Carrot, drained Tuna and ‘Goma-ae’ Sauce.
