Aloo ke kabab (Potato Kabab) Vegan ๐Ÿƒ

Ingredients

  • 1 kg white potatoes
  • 1 large onion very finely chopped
  • 4 Tbsp fresh coriander chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Mint chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1/3 cup Spring onion chopped
  • 1 lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 Tbsp Chaat masala (optional)
  • 2 slice bread without corner make a breadcrumbs in chopper or food processor
  • All purpose flour + water make a paste as needed (to be used for dipping the kababs into before frying) Vegetable Oil required

Directions

  • Boil the potatoes, cool down completely then peel and mash them. Add all ingredients Mix well. Shape into round patties. Refrigerate for about an hour (covered with cling wrap).
  • First dip in flour paste then coat in breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown, then blot in kitchen towels.serve hot with ketchup or chutney ๐Ÿ˜‹Enjoy !!!
  • โœ… Tips: Boil the potatoes one day before,making kabab drain all water cool down completely and keep in a fridge.
