Chilli Potato

Ingredients

  • 250 gm Potato
  • 4 tsp Corn flour
  • 1/2 bowl Cabbage chopped
  • 1/4 bowl Capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 bowl Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • as per taste Ginger cloves chopped
  • as per taste Garlic chopped
  • as required Oil to fry
  • as needed Coriander leaves to garnish

Directions

  • First of all peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into thin slices and cut each slice in sticks.
  • In a bowl take cold water and place the in water for 20-30 minutes.
  • Take the potatoes in a bowl an rinse extra water and add 2 tsp corn flour and salt as per taste and mix them.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry all the potato sticks and stir them occasionally so that they do not stick to each other.
  • Fry the potatoes till they become crispy and take them out on a plate.
  • Take another pan and add 1 tbsp oil and add ginger garlic and green chilies.
  • Stir and fry and add chopped onions,chopped capsicum and chopped cabbage to it.
  • Saute them for 5 minutes,add soya sauce,chilli sauce,tomato sauce and vinegar to it and stir well.
  • Take a bowl and add 2 tsp of corn flour and water.
  • Now add 1 cup of water and stir it and add corn flour mixture also to it. Mix them continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  • Now add the fried potatoes and mix well.
  • Switch off the flame and serve it hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
