Ingredients

  • 4 potato
  • 3 tablespoon bread crums
  • 2.5 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-chilli peast
  • to taste Salt
  • As needed Oil for frying

Directions

  • Boil the potato. After boiling the potatoes, let them coll to room temperature.
  • After that, grate them gently.
  • Add breadcrumbs, corn flour, ginger-chilli paste and salt as per your taste. Mix everything well.
  • Make a dough out of the mixture. Dough should be hard enough that it can stick to the shape we want. Add breadcrumbs if dough seems soft.
  • Apply some oil to the dough and put it in freeze for 30 mins
  • Take a plastic sheet or butter paper and apply some oil on it.
  • Place dough on it and spread it evenly. Do not spread it thin. It should be around 1 cm thick layer.
  • Take cookie cutter or small round lid and dip it in corn flour. So it come out easily.
  • Take a plastic strow and make eyes. To make smile, take a spoon and make a mark of smile with it as shown in picture.
  • Now refrigerate it for 2 hours. Smilies are ready to fry. If you want to store it for 1-2 months then you can store them in a zip lock in freezer.
  • Take an oil for frying and fry it on a medium flame til it become golden and crispy.
  • Your potato smilies are ready to serve. Serve it hot with tomato sauce.
