Ingredients

  • 500 g beef fillet
  • 250 g sweat onion
  • 250 g tomato
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 garlic gloves
  • 1 tablespoon beef shawarma seasonning (if found)
  • Note: In case not found, use the alternative mix:
  • cinnamon powder
  • peppers
  • black pepper
  • crushed cardamom
  • garlic powder
  • dried coriander
  • crushed cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Tahini sauce:
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed cumin
  • Mix all together untill the paste turn to sauce
  • Note: You can add water if the sauce too thick
  • Biwaz:
  • 1 big sweat onion
  • 4 tablespoon samak1 cup of shopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • For sandwish:
  • french fries
  • pickles (long sections)
  • Saj bread

Directions

  • Cut the beef into long and thin chunks.
  • In a bowl mix the following ingredients: *crushed garlic *oil *apple cedar vinegar *all the spices mentioned above to form the marinade.
  • Rub the meat with the marinade, cover and let marinate overnight in the fridge.
  • In a pan, add the beef marinade, stir on a high heat till well cooked and well dried.
  • Add the chopped tomato, then stir on a high heat till its done.
  • Turn off the stove.
  • Served as sandwishes with addition of pickles and biwaz mix as desired.“
