Fried Chicken Sandwiches Spicy and Mild

Ingredients

  • Mild
  • 1/2 pound chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt divided
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder divided
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion powder divided
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • As needed panko breadcrumbs
  • Spicy
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • As needed egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • As needed panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion powder divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder divided
  • 1/2 pound chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • Spicy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • To taste salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 3-1/2 tablespoon Gochujang paste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Dressings, spicy and mild
  • To taste Mild ranch dressing
  • To taste Spicy blue cheese dressing
  • Cheese
  • 4 slice swiss cheese
  • Bread
  • 8 slices bread
  • Oil
  • As needed peanut oil to fry
  • Extra condiments
  • As needed dill pickle chips
  • 1 teaspoon yellow prepared mustard
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 large tomato

Directions

  • Slice the mild chicken breast thin, lengthwise. Add half the seasonings to the pieces. If necessary pound the pieces to make equal thickness.
  • Season the flour, with the remaining seasonings. Add the chicken to the flour and completely coat the chicken pieces.
  • Dip and coat with the egg. Then coat with panko breadcrumbs. Then fry in the oil.
  • Fry till the chicken is done. Turn as needed. Move to a paper towel to absorb excessive amounts of oil.
  • Melt the butter add the rest of the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  • Do the same thing with the spicy chicken as you did with the mild chicken. The spicy chicken will need less salt because of the spicy sauce.
  • When the spicy chicken is done, coat each piece with the sauce.
  • Add the cheese to the spicy chicken.
  • Slice the pickles and tomato. Mix the mayonnaise and mustard. Add mayonnaise mixture to bread.
  • Toast the bread. Add mayonnaise mustard mixture. Stack the pickles and tomato on top of the bottom piece of bread.
