Savoury Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Caster Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Grated Parmesan *I used Dry type
  • Chilli OR Pepper *optional
  • 30 g melted Butter *OR 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4-5 tablespoons Milk OR Water

Directions

  • Combine Plain Flour, Sugar, Salt and grated Parmesan in a bowl. You may wish to add some Chilli OR Pepper as well. Add melted Butter (OR Olive Oil) and Milk (OR Water), and knead to form a stiff dough. Wrap with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 30 minutes.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 3-4mm thin. Then cut into sticks, squares or your favourite shapes.
  • Line a large baking tray (OR 2 baking trays) with baking paper, spread the pieces, and bake in the pre-heated oven at 170℃ for 15 to 20 minutes OR until golden. Cool completely on a wired rack.
  • Enjoy as they are, or with Cheese and Dips.
