‘Kimpira’ Potato & Carrot

Ingredients

  • 1 large Potato
  • 1 large Carrot
  • 1 tablespoon Oil *1/2 Sesame Oil & 1/2 Vegetables Oil recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • Chilli Flakes OR Ground Chilli *optional
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds

Directions

  • Slice Potato and Carrot into thin strips. If you have a vegetable slicer, it can be done quickly.
  • Heat Oil in a frying pan over medium high heat, cook Potato and Carrot until soft. Add Sugar and Soy Sauce (and Chilli), and stir-fry until slightly caramelised.
  • Sprinkle some Toasted Sesame Seeds on top. Enjoy with freshly cooked Rice.
