Okra with Beef

Ingredients

  • 250 g okra
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cube chicken stock
  • 250 g beef cubes
  • Seasoning powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bay leave
  • 30 g butter

Directions

  • Put butter on preheated pan on medium heat and add beef and onion, stir for 5 min then add water and chicken stock
  • Cut the okra tomato and onion in small pieces and add them to the pan and raise up heat
  • Add nutmeg, black pepper, bay leave and seasoning powder and leave to simmer
  • Serve hot with white rice
