Autumn crumble

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 250 g frozen fruits
  • 50 g light muscovado sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon
  • Crumble topping
  • 75 g demerara sugar
  • 175 g plain flour
  • 85 g cool butter, diced

Directions

  • Peal, core and cut the apple into 1cm cubes and put in an oven proof dish
  • Add the juice of the lemon, the frozen fruit, sugar, cinnamon and water. Mix
  • To make the crumble top, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in the demerara sugar.
  • Add the crumble mixture on the top of the fruit
  • Cook for 50min at 190oC
