Indonesian Crispy Coriander Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs chicken legs, cut each leg into 4 pieces
  • 500 ml vegetables oil for deep frying
  • Ground spices:
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 inches turmeric, peeled, grilled on a pan for a while
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • 2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper peppercorns
  • 500 ml water/coconut water

Directions

  • Boil chicken with ground spices until the chicken cooked. Remove from the heat.
  • Set aside. Let the chicken cool down then deep fry the chicken until golden brown.
  • Serve over warm white rice and Indonesian tomato shrimp paste chilli sauce. Yum 😋
